robert jack

Always a Big Fall, 2008, ink on paper, 9 x 11.75 inches
(24 x 29 inches framed)

Robert Jack's drawings reveal a silent process, an osmotic and homeopathic development. Every surface hides a symbiotic network where each element is linked to the next forming a tenuous chain. Most of his drawings replicate the way nature works in its minute mechanisms. They define an implacable system of loose geometry - a series of repetitions with built in mutations. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, he lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.  He was recently included in the exhibition Drawn Twice at The Tang Museum, Saratoga Springs, NY and he had his second solo show at Josée Bienvenu gallery in January 2008.
